Anyone need some maple?
Second picture for a size reference. Looks like this tree should be good for some 12,000 one-piece backs.
One of the fallen trunks have scraped the remaining stump, and it actually looked like it might have some curl, in which case it should be good for one-piece bass backs. The wind started picking up again, however, so we went back inside rather hurriedly. No damage done except for temporary electrical and a first estimate of $1,800 to clean up what fell down and what's still hanging around in less than safe ways. On the other hand, if that's actually curly...
Anyway, just thought I'd share.
