i dunno if this has already been covered, bbut i'm getting a mandolin this weekend (love the sound of em), now i noticed the tuning is at elast similar to bass( been playin for 2 yrs now), but 1 question. is it a low e to high g, or low g to high e??? http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

Standard mandolin tuning is: low to high; G-D-A-E.
