Beanblossom f style

Anyone else play a F style Beanblossom in a band ? I was fortunate enough to get what I believe to be the best one ever built from Korea. I had one that was built in China that was a POS ! Just wondering if anyone else plays one in a band ? Ive gotten a lot of compliments on my mandolins sound. Of course Ive done about $100 in upgrades. When I first got my BB, I tried it out at a few shows, alternating with my main mando. Mine plays nice, but is a bit lacking in tone.
