You can try www.mandolincentral.com. #I just bought a cool Black Calton case with vintage green interior from him last month that he had in stock. #I think he usually has either some in stock or at least on order already (might cut down your wait time).

yea..you will be hard pressed to get a Pegasus in the short time that you need one...I also say check out Tony Williamson at MandolinCentral.com and see what he has to say....good luck

I placed my order for a Pegasus case last October and its supposed to be shipped this week.
I'm not complaining, Sam is a great guy and he had some external issues that caused a delay. I'm sure the lead time will drop as he clears backorders and starts taking new orders again. I'd expect it would be a 4 or 5 month wait, but well worth it if you're not in a hurry.

Since the mandolin should be able to be carry-on, having a Calton or something similar shouldn't be
an absolute necessity, as you can have it in hand or close at hand at all times, so a good quality, protective case should be totally adequate for your immediate needs, giving you some more time to locate what you are looking for. If you can't do carry-on, I wouldn't even be too comfortable with a case like you are looking for.

If buying a Calton, beware of the scroll area on the peghead. Mine was broken by the case.
