I know this isn't the area to post this, but I don't see a "comments about the discussion board" area to post in. #
When I do searches here, I see a statement across the top about when my last search was done and do I want to click a link to go back to that search. #

The strange part: #I never have searched for the word that is printed there. #The latest one is "interval". #Nope, not me. #Never searched for that term.

What web browser do you use? Some web browsers will automatically fill in your search bar with possible searches. It could be that. By the way, if you don't have the web browser, Mozilla Firefox, you need it! Best browser ever! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif Hope that helped.

That's probably junky code left in the boards (quite old and very hotrodded) software. Like if you clikc on somebody's profile icon (the little driver's liscense icon at the bottom of each post) you'll see their profile but it may say would you like to send bobbymcmando a PM when you're loking at the profile for JEStanek. If you send a PM it will go to JEStanek not bobbymcmando.

Just some code slop. Nothing to worry about.

Matter of opinion. I tried Firefox on my computer after putting it on my wife's computer. I did not like it at all. If Firefox were the only browser available I would use it, but fortunately it is not so I will stick with IE for now. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif

What Jamie said. The current forum software has some bugs that cause certain pieces of information to display wrong. Hopefully this will be resolved sometime in the near future.

It's firefox 3 [and 2] that reported those search results. Strange.

mcH,

This behavior is specific to the Mandolincafe.net software not the browser being used. I saw these glitches on IE and Firefox (my preferred browser now). But like Mike said, and Dan announced (http://www.mandolincafe.net/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=12;t=55923). These issues will likely be behind us pretty soon!
