Hi Everyone, I've got a Washburn M1SDL in the classifieds in Great Condition,U.S.Music Corp. donated a 1 year warrantee to go with it! Someone Must know someone who would like this instrument,they generated quite a buzz here,all I'm trying to do is raise some money for Butch's Medical Fund,Won't you check it out and maybe pass the info. along to some friends?
PLEASE HELP US TO HELP BUTCH!

The word 'proceeds' may be a stumbling block. It means the profit from the sale. When I read 'proceeds' I hear "anything more than what it is worth" (or worse "anything more than what I paid for it"). If you mean all the money say so. If you mean proceeds tell us what your minimum return is.
This term is used so often for charity or fund raising raffles that I think people just think it means money raised in such activities. It doesn't, it's the way that the raffle communicates that only the portion in excess of the cost will go to the beneficiary.

Proceeds usually means the sales price.

If it hasn't worked just looking for a buyer to name a price then it might be better to just name a price. I'm sure that Butch and his family will appreciate anything they get.

We certainly appreciate the well-intentioned efforts to support our friend Butch in his time of great need. However, we have to stick by our policy of not engaging in commerce and individual transactions on the Message Board. Mike also makes a good point; there is a tremendous opportunity for other generous souls to contribute to this great cause through the link on the main page.
