Its 4:00 AM, do you know where your mando is? Woke up about 2 this morning with a case of the summer insomnia and went about usual business, cup of Code Red Mountain Dew http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/coffee.gif , bathroom “detail”, email check and visits to various forums. Of course, after about a half an hour on madolincafe.com I started to jones for my mando…so what do you do? Cant go outside, I’ll wake the neighbors and they’ll think I’m more crazy then they already do. Cant really play anywhere in the house as the volume will surely wake everyone up. I ended up in the garage…LOL! Anyone else have nightowl sessions (this could also apply to those with a newborn). http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif

Before the old biddy at the end of the street started fretting about her property values and calling code enforcement, I was able to keep my motorhome in the driveway. Had several late night jams with the boys out there. Kept the AC on, instruments and liquor in there too, so we never had to go inside.

I am frequently up late playing, and also if I do happen to wake up in the night I reach over to the case lying next to the bed. Sometimes I'll I just play lying flat on my back for a few minutes, put it back in the case, and drift back to sleep.
