The other day, I went to woodsongs.com and watched the J.D. Crowe show from their archives. The host of Woodsongs (believe his name is Michael Jonathan) seems to really like bluegrass, but has a kinda goofy edge to his MC work, IMHO...

Anyhoo, during this show, he announces "The Old Home Place" as "The Old Home Page"! I about fell off my chair! Did anyone else catch this?

Maybe this is a way we can make bluegrass more hip with the younger generation...update the song names to be more "computer savvy"...

Other song ideas include:
Knoxville URL
Rabbit in a 'Blog
Fireball eMail

and of course

I'm On My Way Back To The Old Homepage
Blue Ridge Cabin Homepage
Homepage Sweet Homepage

Any others?

Good stuff....

On the Mike Marshall-Chris Thile show Michael Jonathan says something like "And now for my favorite tune on their new album, Fisherman's Hornpipe." Of course it's actually Fisher's Hornpipe.
