I have been using J74's on my MK FS Legacy Deluxe. #I am thinking of trying the Sam Bush strings...
Any suggestions?
I play mostly bluegrass (er, I try to play that is!)
Thanks,
Eric

I like the Sam Bush strings. I also like the strings from webstrings dot com (http://www.webstrings.com). The 2 have different tones. But the Sam Bush strings feel really smooth and seem to last quite a long time.

I had been using Gibson Bill Monroes' on my A9, and have been real happy with them. Today I put on a set of Gibson Sam Bush strings, but need to play 'em a while to break them in. I'll let you know how they are in a day or two. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

I just ordered the Bush strings.
Also, I ordered a ToneGard, too!
Thanks for the suggestions.
