Mandolin stands

I need a stand for my mandolin, and even though I know there are some good inexpensive stands out there, I'm just a do it yourself type of guy. I've come up with a couple of different plans, but not wild about either. Somebody posted on this topic some months ago, but a search didn't turn it up. Anybody have plans or pictures?

there is screw-in forks at the hardware store to base a stand on, Ive used them for wall mounting hanging storage.

do a search but specify this month and "older" and you will find a thread on stands- i just did it and it worked.
