John West, one of the WinterGrass promoters wrote to tell me there's a Mandolin Cafe coffee shop in Tacoma now. He said he went there and told them about my site and they were a bit shocked. Didn't know a thing about it (imagine that!--har). Anyone been there? Like to get a picture of it, maybe send them some case stickers and a business card. Don't worry, I'm not suing anyone! I think it's cool.

I'll have to look the place up during the GAL convention. I'll try to get some pics.
Maybe some pics of some of the cafe members at the Mandolin Cafe?

I haven't been around in ages but I wanted to come out of the woodwork to say, good for you Scott. How refreshing in this day and age.

Tacoma's own Mandolin Cafe.
I counted 15 mandolins in various shapes, sizes, and colors. They are excited to hear from their dot-com brother.

Alright! And live music to boot. Thanks for posting those pictures. Guess this means I'll have to trip up for WinterGrass again and pay them a visit. Mandolins and strong coffee. There's a winning combination.

I visited Tacoma this past weekend and just had to drop by the Mandolin Cafe. #11AM on Sunday morning and this joint was jumpin'! #I walked in and thought "oh that's nice piped in jazz." #I got to the end of the room and it was a live Gypsy Swing Band! (2 guitars, bass and clairinet/trumpet). #my oh my that was sweet!
