the local access channel came and did a segment on our open mic last month, and while flipping on the tube i saw it today. lots of ambient noise from their boom mic, but it came out well. we didn't sound too dorky in the interview, and the song we played ( a folky/jugbandy tune about the town called "a pretty good town" came out pretty well (you can check out the song on nossongs.agreatserver.com ) .

i know its only local access, but as i've only been playin mando for just about 2 years, and playing out for the last year or so (consistently for approx 2 months), i was pretty darn happy with it.my playing was relatively clean and my kazoo playing was just marvelous http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

anyway, just thought i'd share. though i have, in my professional life, been covered on network and major papers, and this may just be holliston, massachusetts access tv, it feels big to me.

peace,
ira

thanks duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude,
actually, they were nice enough to make a copy for me and one for my partner. have gotten a few calls from neighboring folk who saw it, and one guy on the street outside the coffee place who said "hey, you're the music guy from tv last night" hey, stardom is all relative:;):
