I've chipped a piece of the binding off the back point of my Aria. How much trouble is tha to repalce and how much will it cost. I lost the chip (about 1/2 inch long.) Thanks G.B.

Any luthier could do it quick no problem, maybe $15-20 max.

Anyone can just put something in there in a jiffy, but if you want your mandolin to look like it should you will encounter some color matching of the binding and finish touch up. You won't get this for $20. If you had saved the chip it would be much easier and less costly to repair. Because each job like this is unique I keep a time log and charge for the time used plus materials. Take whatever you want, and pay for it.
