Somewhere here, there was a topic about microphones for recording. One of the posts was that there was a hand made very inexpensive microphone made by a guy in Virginia-- with a link to the website. One of the comments in the message was that the pricing would make your head spin, in a good way.

I'm looking for the name of the website or microphone... something like aisset, or ??

Thanks.

Sheryl

You could try these (http://www.mandolincafe.net/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=Search&CODE=02&SID=483ee5127653d269) threads for help with mics and recording in general or this (http://www.mandolincafe.net/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=Search&CODE=02&SID=483ee6610255f578) thread for the mic you are looking for. They look pretty neat by the way, I'm checking them out as we speak.

So what was your trick to finding the right thread? I searched for "head AND spin", and "turn AND head" and still had to do a lot of digging to find it.

I remembered the name of the thread. It's a curse.

Ha! Well, I could remember where the message was in the thread [down towards the bottom], but not the name. Thanks.
