Does anyone know where I could find a link to the tabs for Watson's Blues on the mando? I am trying learning it by ear, but I have hit a wall. (I usually use tab) Anyhow, if anyone has link or any kind of push in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

I learned the Grisman version from Tone Poems I w/Tony Rice.
There was a Mel Bay transcription book, but I think it is OOP.

Yes, it's in the music book that goes with the great Tone Poems CD. I bought the book on Amazon a couple months ago so I could learn that song, but as I don't know any guitar players who play it, I've been working out a solo version. I ought to write it out. But not with TablEdit, which is a mile behind some of the better programs and only does one or two things sort of well.

Great tune! I wish it was a regular standard at the jams I go to. I think it would turn into a jambuster if I broke it out.

If you could get a guitar picker at a jam session to hit that Doc Watson guitar lick each time! I do that song a lot but can't find the guitar picker that can do that lick.
Really? It sounds like it would be a pretty straightforward guitar lick??

Or get another man'alin picker to play the intro/ turn around lick.
Hasn't been a jam breaker for me.....blues in E, most can handle it.
Took me awhile to get the mando part down though. Slidin' around to
get it to sound like the CD.
