Just wanted to recommend them to anyone needing work done on their mando. I have a mandolin I really like tone wise but didn't like the set up. I shipped it to Steve and told him exactly what I wanted. He slotted and installed a new nut and reslotted the bridge to get the string spacing to my liking, did a basic set up, all in a weeks time for a reasonable price. Now I have a mando that sounds good AND plays like it was custom built for me. Thanks again Steve!

Can you explain the procedure of reslotting the bridge? This is something I might like to have done with the bridge on my pacrim mandolin. #http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Steve knows his stuff, and is a class act to boot.

I believe he just shaved enough off the top of the bridge to get rid of the old slots then cut new slots in it.

Steve has done mandovoodoo on some of my mandolins and also sold some on consignment. Ditto Jeff and Jason's recommendatons.

I Purchased my 805 with "Mando Voodoo" from Steve late last year. I found him to be very helpful and professional in my dealings with him. He and Gianna are a class act to do business with.

Thanks all. Cut top of bridge below slots or fill slots. Gives a chance to get the top profile a bit better. Recut. Polish. EZ.
