Among others, like Blackie and Brownie, which approached 1 million each, this from a CNN page...

The 1939 C.F. Martin & Co. acoustic guitar that Clapton played during his famous "MTV Unplugged" appearance in 1992 sold for $791,500. It also had been expected to sell for between $60,000 and $80,000.

Alright!

That means my destroyed 0-17 that has the next serial number must be worth a small, small, very small fortune, like $100.00!

Really have to respect a guy who is willing to part with all of his precious toys for a benevolent cause (I understand he's selling off in order to benefit his drug rehab center). I'm sure he still has plenty in his corral, but he's still selling off all of his high-profile instruments.
