Hi Folks,
#I'm planning a trip to the Seattle area at the end of July. #Are there any music stores in the Seattle/Tacoma area with a noteworthy selection of mandos to test drive? #If so, what mando makes do these stores usually carry? #Thanks for your help.

PS. #Sorry about participating in the BRW foolishness the other day.

Dusty Strings in the Fremont district. Can't say enough good things about it.

At the Pike Place Market there is a "Lark in the Morning" store that has a small selection of mandlins, but they have a lot of different acoustic and mostly stringed instruments. The market itself is worth the trip.

I was just there last month, my first trip to my hometown in 7 years.

Also take in the Folkstore in the U District. Look up Als Swap and Loan. Terribly high prices but can have some good stuff.
