I'm looking for a source for a pickguard and support that would look appropriate for a mid teens Gibson A. There is one on it now, but it has binding around it and an A-50 type bracket. I know the real thing is expensive and hard to come by, but are there ones being made today that would fit the looks of this older mando? And also are there newer bridges made that will also be suitable for my instrument?

I've re-produced these very accuratley for both guitar and mandolin. A lot of hand work but look very original.

I know that Darryl Wolfe (f5journal) makes repro pickgaurds for 20's F-5's. You might PM him and see if he also makes them for A-styles.
