Ultimate Guitar Tabs Archive (http://www.ultimate-guitar.com) is the largest alt rock etc guitar tab resource I'm aware of. NFI

I'll follow you into the dark sounds nice on mandolin. The foo fighter one I'm not familiar with.

Usually I just work off the chords. Pretty straightforward stuff. If a cool riff or solo is tabbed out I'll transpose it.

Ok but wait.Do you use the guitar chords and translate it to mando or are the mandolin tabs there?

Chords don't need to be transposed per se. An A chord on a guitar is comprised of the same notes on the mandolin. You just have to fret different combinations of frets to achieved the notes in that chord.

There is little or no mandolin tablature on that website (ie note by note transcription).

I have been messing around a bit with this also. Another place to take a look at is http://www.chordie.com/

You can even have it transpose chords and change the tuning for diffrent instruments.

The site is almost all chords(hence the name)and the tab is only guitar, but, still fun.

Hope this helps.
