Ok I'll bite . What are we looking at here?

Just guesses here....
Clockwise from the top--the sunburst mando is Silver maple cut on the slab....(that the only one I'm pretty sure of)
Red Maple on the quarter in the blue mando....
Not a clue on mando #3...
Can't even tell the species....
#4 might be Bigleaf maple cut on the skew....?
Like I said, just some guesses...
Better pics might help....

Spruce, My guesses are pretty much the same as your's, and I'll even guess that the unidentified one is Sugar maple on the slab with almost birdseye.
