For those of you that might not know, The Dish Network now has bluegrass on channel #6034....I put in an 8 hour tape and record it during the night and take off the songs that I want and record them onto cassette tapes...The powers to be will probably tell me I can`t do that either.....Willie
Willie as always you da man!!!
I don't know if you miss typed or if Dish reassigned the channel number but I'm getting it on channel #6037. I've just got done listening to Doyle Lawson, Ronnie Simpkins and now the Country Gentlemen are playing Redwood Hill. Not bad for the first three songs #http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
Thanks again for the tip Willie.

P.S. I just tried recording the music to my PVR 508 Receiver and it works like a champ.

This is the new Sirus broadcast, I just discovered it as well. I had been listening to "Acoustic Crossroads" (969 where I live) on the regular music channels, but the Sirus channel seems to have a livelier and more varied playlist.
I love it!

GVD...Yeah, I put in the wrong number, it is 6037....I noticed that most of the songs are the newer bands and new styles but they still go back and get the oldies, I love it myself...`til later...Willie

Channel 826 on my DirecTV is 24 hours of Bluegrass. Old, new, everything.
