Hi folks,
I finished my #1 a few weeks ago and have begun noticing a little problem. When I play the D note on the A strings, that note rings as a harmonic on the G strings (where it's the 19th fret harmonic) and D strings (where it's of course the 12th fret harmonic). It's about twice as loud on the G strings as on the D. The same note also rings on the G strings when i pick the D strings open. Any idea how I could stop this?

I only really started noticing it after doing some fiddling with the bridge and changing the strings. Could that have something to do with it?
Thanks.

What kind of strings? Are they new? Some brands of strings do that on some mandos. On my Rigel A+, I got that really bad with EXP74 strings. It improved some as the strings wore in. I changed to regular J74s and the problem was hardly noticeable.

Elixirs. I didn't notice it so much with J74s. I guess I'll change back. Thanks!

Oh, yes, and they are new.
