Repair crack neck

Have a reasonable price mandolin that i don't want to put much $ into and has small crack on bottom of neck.It tends to start opening up when turning http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif

You want to use fiberglass? Why not glue it?
Can you post a picture showing the crack or at least its location?

To add a photo that is stored on your computer you must start by using the http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/Skin/Default/images/t_reply.gif button instead of using the Quick Reply box at the bottom of the screen.
Type your message and then look for the BROWSE button below your text box. Click it. Find your photo and then click the ADD REPLY button. DO NOT PREVIEW YOUR POST. If you do it will drop your picture. The image file can not be bigger than about 150k and it must be in GIF or JPG formats.
If you store your photos on a photo sharing site like flikr or photobucket you can type your message as usual and just use the Image button.

a crack is how wood says "I need to be glued". A pic would be helpful in exactly how such glueing should take place.:)
