Went down there last weekend...Is there any better selection of stringed instruments in the northeast?

The pinnacle of the day was pickin the Giacomel. This thing is a HOSS. Lather, rinse, repeat... THIS THING IS A HOSS.
More pics & thoughts to come later today & tomorrow after work.

From the first post, I would say "Here IT is in action"

Aestheically, I like the body shape, but I really appreciate the headstock design. I haven't seen any other luthiers doing anything like it.

It's tagged at $12,500,but I'll bet the right guy could get it for $12,495.

As do I, I think a sense of personality is greatly lacking in most retailers, particualy on the web. #Being all sales and no fun doesn't really cut it for me. #Even just reading some of the tounge in cheek humor on the item discriptions on the site makes me get a sense of his personality. #Its a nice touch.

Oh yeah, and pay close attention to the note -- it says "uninformed" not "uniformed". How exactly are you to be sure that the memember of the staff is uninformed? I'm not really sure how that is possible...

Yeah for me, after Monteleone's Grand Artist, this is the next one that works as an alternative to the venerable F-5 design. Apparently they sound good too, which is always important.
