I recently purchased a Gibson A50 that needs some working done to the sinking top (under the bridge).
Does the top/or back have to be removed?
What is the process and options for fixing this?
What is the price range spectrum?
Who would you recommend?
Thanks,

If it was me I'd contact Randy Wood (http://www.randywoodguitars.com/).

This is a pretty neat approach by Frank Ford on an oval hole - not sure if the jack he devised would work here but it might give you an idea.

If you sent it in to Randy Woods to fix I think he will go for removing the back. #
If you have him do that I'd think about also having him regraduate the top and back if necessary - he has built a pretty good reputation in that arena. But maybe your problem is a too thin top already -- in which case there is little that can be done. #
But maybe the problem is simply a case of loose tone bars?

In this case I'm guessing anyone is going to remove the back.
