Just received three sets of Grover F5 tuners and find that they are supplied with pan head mounting screws whereas the plates are countersunk for oval head screws similar to Schaller. Any one have comments...Gavin

Someone else had the same problem and there was a thread about it here, but that's all I can remember about it except that they contacted Grover and were promptly sent the correct screws.

I have the Grover name and # on my 'nother computer, I'll post it if no one else does first.

There was a message regarding the wrong screws being shipped with Grovers in this (http://www.mandolincafe.net/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=7;t=51121;hl=grover+and+scr ews) thread.

If you're talking about the screws that mount the plates, you should be able to find an adequate substitute at your local hardware store, but of course you probably know that. Duh.
If you're talking about the machine screws that attach the tuner buttons, I have info from Grover. Can't remember it right now. Contact me off line. I'll be glad to tell anyone what I know, which might not be current as these things change. The machine screws are a real odd ball and I haven't found a source for them other than Grover.
