I am trying to incorporate more double stops in my soloing and, although I can find double stops within chord shapes all over the neck, I'm having trouble putting them together on the fly. I can sometimes hit them to accent a note but I'd like to string a whole bunch together to flow over chord changes. Anyone have some advice or know of any good instructional material?

i believe that there was a thead on this a while back that actually showed folks how to figure it out down the neck for different keys. don't know how long ago, but if you do an archive search you will prob find it

Thanks Ira. I must've missed them when I tried searching earlier. I got'em now and printed them. There are some in the gen. mando discussions and also in the BG, NG, Country... forum.

Look for Tim O'Brien's Double-stop excercises. They were on co-mando tab archives I think, or in the tab section here. I used these for about a month, just going through them over and over, and it helped tremendously.

Thanks MandoFiddle, I'm looking forward to hearing Heartland Hollow on the Live Music Archive!

Here's a bunch of tablEdit files for doublestops in different keys. I can't find the "Tim O'Brien" one though. Probably the same thing... or similar...
