I'll be in Alexandria this weekend and was wondering where to hear some good music....Any body here playing out this weekend? Any recommendations?

Unfortunately, you just missed John Jorgensen and Tim O'Brien (separate shows). The Institute of Musical Traditions is hosting the Carolina Chocolate Drops (see recent thread on this group) on Monday, April 7, in nearby Rockville, MD. Also on that date, the Wailin' Jennys will appear at Alexandria's premier venue, the Birchmere. You may want to look at the Birchmere's calendar for that weekend.
