I'm interested in recommendations too, as I'm sure the stock bridge on my Kentucky KM-172 can be improved upon.

I have a Steve Smith bridge on my Silver Angel. I know his bridges are on many other mandolins as well.
YMMV!

I second the nomination of Cumberland Acoustics (Steve Smith). I have one on each.

FWIW, wrong area to post this in, kids.
Not really a music theory or playing techniques question.
If you go to .. info about mando's [brand comparisons] or equipment,
you will find abundant .. which bridge .. chit-chat from the past,
near and Further back.

I have never seen or heard anything better than a Red Henery bridge. Check him out on his website. You will not be disapointed!

Doesn't matter what area you post in. If you are of the female gender and asking, what is a good first mandolin, the old time posters will trip over themselves to give a reply. FWIW.
Huh?
Anyway, nother vote for the CA bridge. Get it fitted properly. Makes a HUGE difference

Probably should find an emoticon if you're joking. If you're not, I don't know what to say to something like that...
