Greetings All!

I have been lurking for sometime and just recently started posting. I have no musical background at all, so I am a complete newbie. Well actually several years ago I purchased a Fender 53S and I loved it, was teaching my self then it was stolen, shortly before/after the death of our daughter. Our children bought me a rogue (49 bucks) for fathers day and God Bless them, I could not learn on it, it would not keep tune. Anyways, all that said I am still a complete newbie and am working on scales right now.

I just purchased a Kentucky KM-675 from the classified on here. So I will probably be buggin y'all alot in the months to come.

I do want to pay a compliment, the group seems to be made up of some fine folks.

Okay now my question. I love the sound of the Mandolin, I love Mandolin in Bluegrass, Jazz, and Classical. Bluegrass being my favorite.

I want to subscribe to some Mandolin related magazine (print form, not electronic)what are my options if there is even such a thing.

Welcome.

The premier magazine for our little wonder is called Mandolin Magazine, published quarterly out of Salem, OR. Has music across a variety of genres, everything from simple pieces to advanced. Articles, testimonials, photos, just a great resource.

Good luck.

and there are back issues of Mandocrucian's Digest available here.

Both worthwhile magazines with lots of info.

The Fretboard Journal is a pretty good one. It's not all about the mandolin but for sure mando related.
