Has anyone tried Dunlop 65 cleaner/polish on their
mandos? What's good for cleaning up the finger prints
and smudges?

It's great polish, i use it all the time on all of my instrument: 1969 Martin D-35, Weber mandolin, Ernie Ball Electrics.

I worked in a music store doing repairs and selling and I would never sell anybody Dunlop 65! I told them something else to buy because I tried it the first day I worked there and all I found was that it left a major film on any finish I tried it on. Hate it!

I cant even remember what I had before I had Dunlop 65, but whatever it was I swore by it (some swearing eh http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif ). Someone talked me into it at Guitar Center and it works fine for me, no regrets. One thing I do differently though and I cant remember who turned me onto this idea but I hate regular polish rags and somebody handed me a red oil rag (sans oil of course) from Checker and I've never looked back. No, it doesnt scratch the finish...
