Does anyone out there know the fretboard radius on the Rigel CT-110? The one I've played was about the easiest board I've encountered.
Thanks!

From an e-mail exchange I had with Rigel several years ago:
Ours is a compound radius that runs from 9 3/4" at the nut to 15
3/4" at
the fingerboard extension. The bridge saddle has an approximate radius
of
18".

Interesting. I had the same conversation with Rigel in about 2003 and the answers I got were 9 1/2, 16 and 20. It's not that much different, but it's just interesting that it was different at all.
Yup, Pete (Langdell) told me they were right around 10-16 compound.

I found that the ease of play on Rigel's came from the neck profile as much as the radius. #I wish builders would routinely provide specs on these profiles, as they do on the radius (v-shaped, kiel shaped, d- shaped don't seem as specific, somehow....)
