Yep….. We’re going to do it again!

The response from last year’s first annual ‘ ITP’ Jam Session was overwhelming to do it again even though we had to stop picking in the rooms at 10pm.
That might have been a little painful for some folks, but by and large, it was a reason and a great time to get together and see old friends and get some picking in. If you missed it….. you missed some of the best “up close picking” of the year…anywhere! Talent was all over the place and they were pretty serious about why they were there. Great music abounded.
Discounted room rates are as follows for Galt House East Tower Suites:
$130.00 for single or double occupancy
$140.00 for triple occupancy
$150.00 for quad occupancy
Discounted rooms are being reserved on a first come, first serve basis.
Those rooms are plentiful at this point but the discounted room rates will evaporate as these rooms sell out.

As an aside, we've been building up a festival here in Frankfort for the Summer. We had our first one last year and had 600 attendees. I'd love to get BA to set up a booth this year.

I'll be there both days. If you get a room, request the 7th floor and make sure you mention Itchin to Pick for the hotel discount. I haven't gotten my room yet but will definitely be getting one. Should be a lot of fun. It was last year!!!

That happens to be Easter weekend, so the wife is busy. I may come down and swing by anyhow. It'll also give me an excuse to visit my Dad.

Would I just park in the Galt House parking if I dont get a room?? Also, any specific times or places scheduled to meet up and pick?

I live all of 15 minutes from the Galt House but with this being Easter weekend we'll be in Lexington from Friday afternoon 'til Monday visiting with family and setting up the new RV.

Maybe next year.

This was great!! The hotel is one of the nicest I have been in and the picking was some of the best I have ever heard; in the giant lobby, on the sixth and seventh floors, and just about anywhere they could stand. We will certainly be there next year. What a great way to start the picking season! Thanks.
