2007 Kentucky mandolin, looks perfect to me.

It does. It appears to have an excellent finish and no wavering lines on the binding, which is one thing that always catches my eye on imports.
If I had the means I'd pick that one up. NFI.

outside of the F holes looking a tad large - that one IS mighty impressive, that finish is dead-on - and for $1200, a great value. i even like how they got the recurve on the sides, a nice touch. adi top too!
i have a 87 KM-1500 that i've had since i started playing in 1989 - I love it, its been a great mando and always fun to take to jams and see the look on peoples faces when they see that much sound and tone coming from a Kentucky. unfortunately it fell over years ago and cracked the neck block slightly, so it doesnt stay in tune so well anymore...
