I know that is is off topic but I've been watching the evening news here in Edmonton and seeing the shocking devastation in the SE. I want to send all my sympathies to all my co-mando pickers in the affected areas. Hang in there.

Mike,
Thanks for post, Kevin here from West Tn, my family and friends are all OK. The storms were strong and effected many folks last night. Let's keep all of them in our thoughts and prayers.

I'd like to echo those sentiments from this side of the pond. We very often envy you guys with your good weather, but we ARE GREATLY aware of just how severe & dangerous it can be in certain parts of the USA. Not only that, but the 'danger areas' seem to have expanded in recent years.
I have the greatest sympathy for those who's homes have been either damaged or
destroyed,& my heart goes out to those who have suffered the loss of a loved one as well as all the devastation,

Our family and our kids were spared. However, my wifes co workers did not fare so well. Five of them lost their homes and all they have. One lady is still in the hospital with injuries from the tornado, and another co-worker lost not only his home, but his life.

It is a sad day for so many. 33 dead in Tennessee alone and about 700 injured with the last report I've heard. I have been so blessed to be spared!

Having lived thru at least 7 twisters since 1974 my thoughts and prayers are with them.
