I have pined for a Gallatin for 10 years; now, thanks to a selfless act from a real friend, Stan the Man, I got hooked up on a great deal, and I couldn't be happier. The fit, finish and woody sound rival any mando I have ever heard, even causing me to neglect my old Scruggs banjo. Eight wheels, no brakes...

Bret,
My buddy just purchased one last night from Meadowood Music in Pennsylvania. I was blown away by it. It was $2050, and was well beyond that price. He was considering a Breedlove Oregon or an Eastman 900 series F style, but they were no where near this Gallatin. The Oregon was nice, but there was really no comparison.

Nice.
You will be hard-pressed to hear anything but praise from owners of Weber-built instruments in any range. My STE is very modest and affordable, and it sounds great and is well made.
