I was in San Diego on the 19th of January and saw some singer/songwriters at Lestats' coffee shop. Lisa Sanders was the headliner and she sang a song called Sandwiches. She didn't know who wrote it, she learned it from a friend who had heard it perfomed somewhere. It is a very fun song, but I only remember the chorus, none of the verses or the key or chord changes. If anyone could help with what I'm missing, I'd be grateful. The chorus is:
Sandwiches are beautiful,
and sandwiches are fine,
I love sandwiches,
I eat them all the time,
I eat them all for supper,
and I eat them all for lunch,
if I had a hundred,
I'd eat them all at once.

My boys already know the chorus and ask for it, I'd love to be able to sing the whole song for them.
Thanks for any help with this.

I found this on line. Its a Fred Penner song. I could not find the music.

Sandwiches are beautiful, sandwiches are fine -
I like sandwiches, I eat them all the time.
I eat them for my supper and I eat them for my lunch;
If I had a hundred sandwiches, I'd eat them all at once!

Sing that chorus again with me - ready?

Sandwiches are beautiful, sandwiches are fine -
I like sandwiches, I eat them all the time.
I eat them for my supper and I eat them for my lunch;
If I had a hundred sandwiches, I'd eat them all at once!

Mm-hmm!

Well I'm roamin' and a-travelling and a-wanderin' alone,
And if you care to listen I will sing a happy song;
I will not ask a favour and I will not ask a fee
but if you have yourself a sandwich won't you give a bite to me?

Sandwiches are beautiful, sandwiches are fine -
I like sandwiches, I eat them all the time.
I eat them for my supper and I eat them for my lunch;
If I had a hundred sandwiches, I'd eat them all at once!

Well once I went to England - I visited the Queen!
I swear she was the grandest lady that I'd ever seen...
I told her she was beaootiful and could not ask for more;
She handed me a sandwich and she threw me out the door!

Sandwiches are beautiful, sandwiches are fine -
I like sandwiches, I eat them all the time.
I eat them for my supper and I eat them for my lunch;
If I had a hundred sandwiches, I'd eat them all at once!

Yeah!

Well, once I met a pretty girl - the fairest in the land -
Young men in the county, they were asking for her hand.
They would offer her the moon and they would offer her the sea;
I offered her a sandwich and she said she'd marry me.

Sandwiches are beautiful, sandwiches are fine -
I like sandwiches, I eat them all the time.
I eat them for my supper and I eat them for my lunch;
If I had a hundred sandwiches, I'd eat them all at once!

Well a sandwich may be egg or cheese or even peanut butter,
But they all taste so good to me it really doesn't matter.
Jam or ham or cucumber or any kind will do -
I like sandwiches - how about YOU?!

Sandwiches are beautiful, sandwiches are fine -
I like sandwiches, I eat them all the time.
I eat them for my supper and I eat them for my lunch;
If I had a hundred sandwiches, I'd eat them all at once!

Sandwiches are beautiful, sandwiches are fine -
I like sandwiches, I eat them all the time.
I eat them for my supper and I eat them for my lunch;
If I had a hundred sandwiches, I'd eat them all at once!
If I had a hundred sandwiches, I'd eat them all at once!
If I had a hundred sandwiches, I'd eat them all at once!

- traditional camp song, as performed by Fred Penner on the album The Cat Came Back

I found the same lyrics but attributed to Bob King. The song is on his CD Weird and Wacky Songs For Kids.
If you have Rhapsody this song is available.

Thanks guys, I knew someone here would be able to come up with it. I'll check out the recordings and get the chords from them. Your help is greatly appreciated.
