Hi all. I have a friend who is in need of a good bluegrass band for the 4th of july for about 4 hours in Gatlinburg Tennessee for an acoustic setting (no P.A. required) Not looking for jam bands, but a band with some material that can be auditioned. Pay is around a thousand bucks for the four hours. We'd do it, but we're already booked on that date. I'll give more particulars to respondants. thanks

i've got a group that might be interested, around raleigh in nc. We've got myspace if you're interested. Not a jam band. Original tunes, traditional backbone with a contemporary overtone, etc. If you do have a band closer to you to play that's fine, but if not...we could maybe do it for somewhere not too much more than 1000.

Well, I'll throw my band's hat into the ring: The Whistlepigs (www.whistlepigs.com).

Sure, we're from Minnesota, but we've got some family and friends down there. Check the website and feel free to give me a holler fkeller AT scicable DOT net. Send me an email and I'll shoot my home phone if you'd like.
