Im having trouble finding mahagony thats 1 1/2" thick so I can make a large batch of head, tail and point blocks. Anybody have some they want to sell?

Check on eBay....search for seller .... poeticsoul2.... These folks have GREAT wood and regularly list the mahogany you need.

exoticwoods.com may have some. If they don't have it in 1 1/2" you could buy thicker and have them belt sand it, but you'd have to pay for the waste. They did a couple of pieces of walnut for me for lap steels that they sanded down from 2 inch rough (8/4) to 1 3/4. I ordered the wood over the telephone sight unseen and explained what I was looking for. What they sent was was excellent quality with good grain and no defects.
