You search the web and come up empty but all is not lost. There's Mandolin Cafe, the great repository of all mandolin knowledge. The Borg of the mandolin world.

I was listening to a Richard Bailey (banjo player) album called "Night Light". Tommy Boroughs is the mando player on most of it (Bobby Clark on a couple of cuts). He plays with a lot passion, really intense and fiery. Anyone know anything about him, what he's doing now etc?

Tommy Burroughs plays with several different bands in the Memphis area and does some session work. He comes from a bluegrass family and is very proficient at a number of different instruments including bass, mandolin, fiddle, guitar (he probably plays others but these are the ones I've seen him play). He's got a CD out called Hillbilly Speedball at CDbaby.com and emusic.com (but don't listen to the sound samples at CD Baby, they've linked the wrong band samples to Tommy's CD). That's a cool link John - Thanks.

If you go to Eric Lewis' myspace page you can listen to the album "Walk the road with me" that he and Tommy did together not too long ago. Great pickin!

Its on the player underneath the myspace player. I believe the entire album is there.

Thanks for the info. Nice link. I'll check out the Eric Lewis page. Anyone have a review of "Hillbilly Speedball"?
