I apreciate what you all had to say about this piece last time around.

Well I'm still thinking about this one as collectible piece because its so clean.

what would you say is the most one should pay for it and what is the collective wisdom regarding its collectibility?

No doubt one this clean does not come around too often. And no doubt one should expect a premium price for such pristine vintage but since it's not a desirable Gibson model(fingerboard glued to top)it has to be slightly less then say a pristine 1951 model with a raised fingerboard which would be more desirable for a postwar F12.
I've seen '51s in near mint go for $5000.
