hi, want to get my mando checked out, so called the music emporium, the only place i know of that i would trust with my instrument. they have a few weeks waiting list to check it out.

i live in holliston (kinda nowhere, but closest to a real town would be framingham or natick to north, wellesley to the east, and franklin to the south.) does anyone know a repair person/luthier they trust to whom i could bring my baby to be checked out well and with care?http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

thanks ,
ira

Hi Ira,
If you don't mind taking a drive into Boston, there's a place called Broken Neck Guitars right on the corner of Mass. Ave & Boylston Street (right near Berklee School of Music). The guy (his name is Peter) does a great job w/ mandos as well as guitars. I've had some fret work done there and I would recommend his services to anyone who doesn't mind dealing w/ those lunatic drivers who frequent the streets of Boston. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
