I performed “Winter Wonderland” at our mountain chapel last night with a regular part timer from Bakersfield. He plays guitar quite well and has a nice voice with the added plus of singing on key. I am normally pitch challenged when singing solo, but can do much better when I have someone leading the way. We practiced both alone and then together several times on Sundays after service for a month. We always had a small missed lyric here or a slightly muffed chord change there, but we decide it would just add to our charm ( code word for “we ain’t gettin’ paid anyway” ). Well, last night God smiled down on us and we hit every word, every note on time and on key and if we did it another thousand times, it could never sound better that what we did.. We even ended bang dead together perfectly. The audience exploded in applause. What a feeling!!!
Merry Christmas
John

Sounds like "devine intervention"!
