Inspiring- John must have been a wonderful guy.

Anybody know the names of the tunes Greg was playing in the video?

Thanks-

Rick

Greg is very approachable. He teaches and lives in south Portland (Oregon), so you should be able to reach him by phone and ask about the tunes. If you can't find him there, call the folks at Artichoke Music, they'll put you in touch with him.

That was great fun to watch. I really liked the headstock logo that the customer chose. Very cool.

Thanks for the repost of these magnificant videos. I was disappointed when I found the initial posting had been withdrawn. Spruce I was very pleased to get to play your Sullivan mando at this year's barter faire.

I didn't know the man, but from this video I can tell he was a easy going guy with a great personality, it showed.
I have a question: That neck joint he made in the video I found very interesting, it wasn't a dovetail and it wasn't the Siminoff joint. Looked like a big wedge the whole neck went in! And it looked simple.
Does anyone know anything about this joint, or have a blueprint of how to make it? Thanks Jd amd thanks for the video, very cool!
