Heard a remake of this tune. It starts out w/
Bill Monroe singing ( complete from a scratchy record, you
can hear the record spinning ) then changes to a newer singer ( sorry, dont know who you are )
Anyway, after BM sings the first line, after keep
on shining, there is a simple 4 note run just after the
chord change. Its so simple I cant get it. We play it out of G but I can probably transpose it from another key.
I know I'll feel like an idiot when I find out but....
its driving me crazy..

That's the one from the "Big Mon" CD with John Fogarty singing.

So its kind of a shortened guitar G run. Shoulda
been able to figure that out. I dont know what key
Fogarty sang it out of but he did a good job.

Scotti : Thanks, The notes are right but in the key
G it sounds better if I start on the G note on the E
string and run it up. The last note is kinda high on
the neck for me but it sounds the best so.........
