Since it's nearly impossible to find a Stiver mandolin, the web site represents the next best thing. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Glad to see it. I'm in PA and have never seen a Stiver, just see the occasional post referring to their legendary volume.

How do you know when you're playing already? I just talked to Amy George the other day and she had not even done the schedule yet. Is it done yet? I need to know when we're playing so I can adjust my schedule.

I'm so glad Lou has made a website. It's so nice to read about how he builds them! I am honored to see that my "Irish" mandolin is on his site. It's such a wonderful mandolin! I have just placed an order for an F model. It is very exciting!! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I have seen and heard two Stivers up here in Mooseland, an A and an F. Both were loud and clear with great tone.
