Good time to measure and collect data.
FM61 is pretty flat , nowhere to go once the bridge bits hit the baseplate, but file something off the bottom side of the bridge pieces.
plus the setscrews exposed ends jab into my right hand palm.
perhaps a parallel but elevated fingerboard scheme .

The neck angle on any instrument, including a solid body, is determined by the desired string action height, the desired bridge height, and the height of the fingerboard above the edge of the body where the neck attaches. A flat solid body instrument (like a Telecaster) needs a different neck angle than an arched solid body (like a Les Paul).

Those many guitars on the wall at the music store can give you a survey base .

I normally build mine with a flat neck angle. I find the flat neck to work better with my construction process and the components I use on my instruments. I have experimented with adding a little neck angle, maybe 1-2 degrees max, and that seems to allow for a little more adjustment of the action.
I don't see all that much benefit from a playing standpoint although a few people have said that they think an angled neck is more ergonomically comfortable. I can say I have seen a huge difference between using a tapered neck and a straight neck, and everyone that has played both will choose the tapered over the straight. Hope that helps.

Get all your parts together, then make a full size drawing from the side of the instrument. Put everything in the drawing, frets, strings, nut, machines, bridge, etc. Once you put it together on paper you can make it with the real parts. It helps to have an accurate measuring device or two, like a yard stick and a dial caliper.
You might be surprised how many problems this process eliminates.
