Great Octave Mando/Bouzouki!

Recently got custom built short scale bouzouki (octave mandolin) from Dave Freshwater at Freshwater Mandolins in Scotland. For a few bucks more than commercial instruments it is well worth it to be able to choose woods--and being a guitar player I had Dave make the fingerboard a bit wider. I have had nothing but compliments on the sound, and it is a looker with celtic knot design sound hole. Great for Irish music. Guitar is gathering dust! Thanks, Dave--Joanne
