My wife, 9 year old mandolin playing son, and I are driving from our farm here in the Finger Lakes area to Saratoga to see Frank's show Saturday night. We are really looking forward to seeing Frank performn and meeting him and Miss Marsha.

Hi Howard,
I was going to head up there for the show but some other things have come up. I had a good time hanging out with you and Frank a couple years back, tell him Phil says bye... http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
P.S. Next time I'm up there hopefully you can stop by again, I'd love to see the Red Diamond!

"I was referring to the fact that"...
Humor that needs to be explained isn't humorous! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
Especially when it's likely to offend an awful lot of it's intended audience.

Frank put on a great show last night in Saratoga. #He performed a wide range of material and really impressed his "air conditioners" (fans) with his creativity and technical prowess. #He was very generous with his time and picked a few tunes with my 9 year old son Jesse before the show. #He invited Jesse up on stage to do a couple of tunes during his second set. What a memorable experience that was. #Don't miss a chance to see Frank perform. #He is amazing.

Now if you are in the Hartford CT area Friday November 16th, make sure you don't go to The East Hartford Community Cultural Center.
Because if you go, you won't see Frank and his Band, and then you won't see Del McCoury and his band either!!

I wanted to say thanks for coming! Your boy was great -- getting kids like him up on stage like that reminds me of why I started liking bluegrass music in the first place!
So far we've done three gigs as a band, and even though we all pick ourselves apart as musicians, this past one was easily the funnest gig we've done yet.
Frank works us hard -- the first set was an hour and a half and the second was an hour and 20 minutes! I was fighting a cold all week and started to lose my voice toward the end.
